November, 2007:  "The last 3 years have been the worst years in my life."
I lost my beautiful newly constructed home, my investment property, my husband (divorced), lost my business, my credit was destroyed by the divorce and I lost every penny I had because after my husband cheated on me he abandoned me and all of his responsibilities. My grandmother passed away and my mother came down with breast cancer. Needless to say, I was also battling depression, axiety and ADD. It was very, very scary trying to raise a little new born for the first time (all alone) and trying to stay strong while I had to shave off my mother's hair and help her stay strong!! Needless to say, the few friends I had left wondering how I was even able to live. Little by little, I overcame one mountain of pain at a time. I am proud of myself today and couldn't of done it with the love of my family. But, one day I met Karen Piedra at a house warming party. We talked and decided to trade services. She did Reiki and Space Clearing for me. Within days, I felt more energetic, almost free! My energy came back and I am able to make repairs to my apartment so my little 3 year old can have her own room for the first time! I got an incredible job offer in a field that I do not even have a degree for! And, I love this job. Other strange things began to miraculously happen. I got a $200.00 gift certificate to congradulate me on getting the job! A woman called, she was from Women & Enterprise and they help single moms with clothing for new jobs. I got a suit, a coat, a pocket book, shoes, pants, skirt, seperate suit coat, and some toiletries!! My sister's husband was on my back continuously because I could not afford to pay rent. Now I can. My mom is recovered from her breast cancer and her hair looks beautiful!! I don't have to put my daughter in a day care because everyone is helping out with watching her. Thank you Karen - I can't explain it but you definately had something to do with it!! 

Dear Karen,

I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you so very much for your amazing energy work with my home.  I feel very blessed that our paths have crossed because your influence has made such a large impact in my life, measured in such small ways. 

As expressed, all seemed well in our home, but something felt off.  We have had our home on the market for two years with no luck.  It is quite a large estate so we knew it would take time to sell.  The problem was that every time a buyer approached the second floor via the main staircase, they no longer liked the house.  It is a beautiful staircase with and ordinary hall servicing lovely bedrooms and an office.   I kept trying to solve the puzzle about what went wrong and the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it was in this end of the house that the most tension resided.  Our house is described as a beautiful old house and was fully remodeled so I knew it couldn’t be the finishes.  

This corner of the house was plagued by disagreements and the office was struck numerous times with lighting causing very expensive replacement of electronic equipment. Also, my eldest daughter, whose room is in this location, would start each morning with a hostile attitude.  I attributed it to her being a teenager, but was perplexed because she did not act this way at other times and in our other houses.  Karen, after your magic touch, peace was restored – Amen! 

The following may seem like a small list of changes since your visit, but it has only been six weeks and the changes have been pretty amazing for our family.  I can’t wait to see what another six weeks may bring!  They are as follows:

1. daughter calm –laughter returns at breakfast
2. office – no agitation or tension
3. no lighting hits, even after a rare winter lighting storm
4. I now have a green thumb inside the house – plants thrive like never before
5. large pond that was dry for 5 months fills to the top with water in only two weeks
6. farm equipment we have been trying to sell for quite some time – sells at great price
7. unexpected, but exciting career opportunities develop 
8. real estate activity after no showings for 7 months (downside – now I have to keep the house clean)
9. kitchen appliances that would go on the blink and “repaired” many times start to work for no reason and continue to work – saves a lot of money because now I don’t need to replace

Karen, the magic continues with small surprises everyday that are more than just a coincidence.  I can’t explain it, but I know your healing works.  Thank you so much for your blessings and thank you for giving me back my sweet natured daughter.  I will be forever grateful that our paths have crossed!

It is a privilege to say that Karen has been a friend of mine for 22 years.  Not only has she changed my life personally, she changed my life professionally by helping with spiritual problems I had been experiencing in my workplace.  For example during the holidays my business had experienced some difficulties with personnel and customers creating a very negative feeling.  I knew something was wrong because this had happened once before.  I called Karen and asked her to come to my business and cleanse and bless the space.

Following Karen's visit I started to notice a calm had come over my workplace and things started to fall into place again.  At a meeting with my employees I mentioned that Karen had come in and I asked if they felt that there was a different energy in the space.  The employees responded that they did notice an overall positive feeling.

Karen's understanding of my problems went beyond an understanding of what needed to be done she also understood why it was so important for my business and the effect that the problem was having on the bottom line.

Pelican Spotted in Shelburne Falls

�Watch The Story A pelican spotted a couple of days ago in Shelburne Falls has apparently taken the next step in its journey. Residents say the pelican has disappeared from the bridge of flowers. One person said they saw the bird floating on a block of ice in the Deerfield River. The bird caught the attention of many residents there as pelicans are extremely rare to find up here this time of year. In the winter, they usually flock to the gulf states.
